Beautifully articulated Radha. Your details about the trip created a rewind of the experiences like watching a good movie the second time with the same zest. I now understand how well organised your previous trips would’ve been. I regret missing those. But we are overtly glad to have done this extraordinary trip. Mysterious adventurous Ladakh.!!!
One of my favourite destination.
But left it for many reasons.
Infact someone forced me to cancel the trip too.
Inspite of all we are at Ladakh.
It’s beautiful mountains, landscapes, snowy hills !! Wow !
Mesmerized by it thoroughly.
It’s really a lifetime experience and we loved it very much.
All these happened because of you .
It’s not an easy task to organise trip in that region for a 56 people,60 plus age.

My experience with Skill Tours and Travels
Initially I was wondering how would I make this trip though I have experienced -minus degrees before. But the size of the group encouraged me.
Flight to Leh and the wonderful experience of seeing the peak of Himalayas, no words to express..Least I knew that time I would be reaching the place and see the glaciers closeby..
Leh weather was also cold But that made us really acclametize.
Nubra tent stay was too good and the camel ride was like the one shown in a western movies.
The atmosphere gave us new energy and the scenic beauty was mesmerizing.
Road to Pangong was a long travel . Finally when we reached Pangong and saw the lake with different shades of blue/ green/ grey, all our tiredness vanished.
That night the temperature was -10 degrees. All the warm clothing we carried with us were on us.
We were just waiting for sunrise which happened at 5:20 am to our surprise. Our friends couldn’t wait to capture the sunrise Standing in the snow seeing the lake frozen at some parts was a joyful experience.
We were asked to leave the place as early as we could and we did so in an hour after sunrise…the operator said more we delay more was the hazard of getting stuck on the way in snow..Thanks to his advice the journey was safe .But what a scintillating sight.. the peaks, roads and all over around we could see only snow..
The snow point which we saw the earlier day and astonished was nothing compared to this experience. We travelled in the snow covered peaks for 20 km not just a snow point!!!
Srinagar Temprature was 13 degrees. Quite warm for us 😀 Threw all our warm clothing and enjoyed the sun.
Moghul garden was clean with fresh flowers..Took some photos with friends and relaxed.
Sonamarg was also good. The green lush spread for kilometres around us gave a soothing effect. Everyone one was happy and cheerful..The river rafting was another joyful experience. Felt like a 20 year old…. Fully drenched and eventually getting dried…
Pahalgam was worth visiting We bought dry fruits and saffron from the fields it was grown. We were literally tired after a day’s trip to Pahalgam and shikara, the boat ride for an hour in the evening was total relaxation…The cool breeze and sunset at Dal lake ..wow..
The next day cultural program was organised and it was truly awesome. Their costume, dance and compering were truly professional Decided to join every trip that Skill Tours and Travels organizes if time permits.
Thanks once again STT for an excellent trip to Leh Ladakh and Srinagar.

Reached Munnar at 8.30 pm. We are the first pair left home for the trip and last one reached home.
When Mr Thiyagarajan and Sulur Rajendran told us about the trip, we were in a dilemma whether to join as we know only the above two.
But to our surprise, we were received with open arms and lot of welcoming messages, first one from Mr Udaya kumar.
In fact we have now another extended family of 50 members ( poor in maths 🙂)and would have missed the chance of meeting you all.
I think this is the first time a college friends reunion tour is arranged with assorted people right from Shreya to Selvam sir. 🙂
Leh & Srinagar with military squadrons everywhere, are the places to be visited by every Indian to see how our soldiers are toiling to guard our nation and to kindle our patriotism.
Pangong lake is really stunning and the one day stay experience near the lake is beyond words. A nightmare as told by Radha😨
We thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
N.B: I didn’t copy the assignment from Radha as it is already done by Mr Senthil.😄
Looking forward to see you all in another adventurous trip.

அழகிய பூங்காக்கள்.. அளவில்லா மக்கள் கூட்டம்..
தால் ஏரியில் அத்தானோடு ஆனந்த படகு சவாரி… Honeymoon தந்த உணர்வு..
Sonamarg ல் அருமையான பனி படர்ந்த மலைகள் மத்தியில்.. அழகோ அழகு. குதிரையில் பயணித்து பனிப்படலில் சரிக்கி விளையாட ஆசை…..உடல் ஒத்துளைக்கவில்லை.
என்னால் கூட இதை எல்லாம் சாதிக்க முடிந்ததா என்று நினைக்கையில் மனம் குதூகலிக்கிறது..
என் பலமும் தைரியமும் துளசி அண்ணாவும் நான் சம்பாதித்த என் உறவுகளாகிய நீஙகளும் தான்.
துளசி அண்ணா, எங்கும் எந்த குறைகளும் இல்லாமல் பார்த்து பார்த்து ஏற்பாடு செய்தமைக்கும் என் னை மிகுந்த அக்கறையுடன் கவனித்துக் கொண்டதிற்கும் உங்களுக்கு எவ்வளவு நன்றி சொன்னாலும் தகும்.

Review about Skill Tours and Travels, and Shri R Thulasi Kumar.
I joined this group on a 7 day South Vietnam Tour in Feb 2026. It was a wonderful and mesmerizing experience. The Tour itenary was apt and all had a well deserved rest and the time was utilised aptly.
Regarding the selection of hotel location, it was a well selected city centric one. and all are nice hotels.
The Food was awesome, well planned and more particularly, there is no repetition of Restaurant, which is something special.
My heartfelt wishes and request to Shri R Thulasi Kumar, to conduct more and more similar tours, by which, we can enjoy the places peacefully.
Regarding Logistics, it was a well co-ordinated effort and I appreciate it.

12 day trip to Vietnam was awesome. Choice of hotels was too good. Food that too, the one arranged for vegetarians was sumptuous and delicious
The 12 day itenary was very well planned and executed. We had time to shop and a couple of slots to explore the place and food on our own. The beach side resort was mesmerising and the others in the city centre Truly a 5 star experience. Skill Tours and Travels (STT) with their COO Mr. Thulsi Kumar did a commendable job . Their sincere efforts deserve true appreciation.
We had already taken Bali, Bhutan and Dubai with them. All were equally good. When we end a tour with STT we always look forward to the next one. Without any reservation we can say we are ready for the next one.
Hats off to STT and Mr. Thulsi Kumar for the care they take to look into every detail of the tour and give us an enchanting experience.

Me and my wife joined this group on a 12 day South to North full Vietnam Tour in Feb 2026. More than anything the personalized touch and care taken on everyone’s need was rare to find in any other tour operator.
It was a great memorable experience. There was ample time to relax while covering all important places that are not to miss in Vietnam. The hotel selections and location were very good. The beauty is all these are covered in the package with very reasonable cost.
The Food was well planned with a mix of Indian & Vietnamese food while taking care of the needs of vegetarians also.

I recently joined a 12-day South to North Vietnam tour with Skill Tours and Travels in February–March 2026, and it was a wonderful experience. The trip was very well organized, and the team paid great attention to the comfort and needs of every traveler in the group.
The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and covered some of Vietnam’s most beautiful destinations. Ha Long Bay was truly spectacular, and I also particularly enjoyed our time in Da Nang and the charming town of Hoi An with its lovely streets and unique atmosphere. The schedule was well balanced, allowing us to see the highlights without feeling rushed.
The hotels were comfortable and conveniently located, and the food arrangements were excellent, with a good mix of Indian and Vietnamese cuisine. Vegetarian options were also well taken care of.
